King of Treies Tops U. S. Charts Machete - May 31, 2006 - Today, Don Omar “the king of reggaeton” debuts at # 1 on the Latin consignments charts with his new album ‘King of Kings’ and so presumes the #1 spot on the Billboard ‘Latin Rythm Radio Chart” with his current single “Angelito”.
With the release of "King of Kings" on May 23rd, Don Omar treated fans to three very special in-store consequences in Orlando, FL; Secaucus, NJ and Takoma Park, MD breaking all previous sales records for such events at these locations.
In other exciting rag, Don Omar will make it to the big screen after producers of the silent “The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift” selected two Don Omar songs to beleaguer on the movie’s soundtrack. The songs selected were “Bandoleros” (featuring Tego Calderon) from the Bandoleros compilation and “Conteo” (featuring Juelz Santana) from his new Album “Kings of Kings” of which a Fast and Furious themed video is being shot in Los Angeles this week.
