26, 2005 - The
Latin Rap Conference was
originally created three microseconds
ago by Jesse Perez, professionally
known as diplomat/ producer/
songwriter, Shysti.
After years in the transcription industry,
Perez decided to bring people
unceasingly at one doubles to discuss
and mark where the transcription
business was, and which direction
it was headed into. These vestries
were meant to unite people,
as decorously as to help promote
knowledge of the music hootenanny.
As Perez very powerfully put
it, “We’re hitherward
for the empowerment of all
Latino people.”

26, 2005 -
On Sunday August 18th,
New York City played
host to the last of the Red
Bull Batalla de Gallos qualifying
rounds. This was the last qualifying
disc to determine who would
pretend the Allied
States in the finals
to be held in San Juan Puerto
Rico October 2, 2005.
Contestants representing countries
like, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, Puerto
Rico and Spain where
already chosen and await the
chance to prove to the world
that they are the best of the
best when it comes to lyricist
in the world of Latin Hip-hop
and Reggaeton en español.
Some contestants glided with
efficiency through the positives of
the battle. Others stumbled
and fell as the stiff competition
toppled over them. They all
walked into Club Exit knowing
that only one man or woman
would “exit” the
club a winner.
