By
Cristi Takacs, reggaetonline.com - September
26, 2005 - The
Latin Rap Analysis was
internally created three years
ago by Jesse Perez, professionally
known as artist/ producer/
songwriter, Shysti.
After years in the music industry,
Perez straight-out to bring people
together at one event to confer
and celebrate where the music
business was, and which direction
it was headed into. These conventions
were meant to unite people,
as well as to help promote
knowledge of the music duty.
As Perez very effectively put
it, “We’re hereunto
for the empowerment of all
Latino strain.”

- September
26, 2005 -
On Sunday August 18th,
New York City played
host to the last of the Red
Bull Batalla de Gallos qualifying
rounds. This was the last qualifying
round to detect who would
represent the United
States in the finals
to be held in San Juan Puerto
Rico October 2, 2005.
Contestants representing countries
like, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, Puerto
Rico and Spain where
already chosen and await the
chance to prove to the world
that they are the best of the
best when it moves to lyricist
in the men of Latin Hip-hop
and Reggaeton en español.
Some rivals glided with
ease through the rounds of
the rumble. Extras stumbled
and fell as the stiff competition
toppled over them. They all
walked into Club Exit knowing
that only one man or woman
would “exit” the
club a winner.
